Last night, Gamespot released an intriguing report suggesting that The Last of Us: Remastered might be coming to the PS4 on June 20th. Target, GameFly, and Best Buy all have this date marked as the official PS4 launch date for the highly acclaimed title. This news comes a full week after Naughty Dog confirmed that they have been hard at work on this special version of the game for quite awhile now.
As previously stated, The Last of Us: Remastered is expected to retail for full price and include all of the DLC add-ons released up to this point. June 20th actually falls on a Friday and would be one full week after E3 2014. While Sony has yet to confirm or deny if any of this information is true, my best guess is that we will know more well before their Sony Conference in June.
The Last of Us was easily the best game that came out last year. Gamers who picked up a PS4 and still have yet to experience this game will certainly be in for a treat. While it is currently unknown when the next Uncharted game will launch on the PS4, it is at least good to know that we will have at least one Naughty Dog game to hold us all over until then.
