18. Jacob Taylor
I kind of feel bad for putting Jacob this low on the list, but I never really had a deep connection with him. Yes, he had Shepard’s back from the get-go, yes, he had some serious shit he was going through, and yes, he was a good person. But his execution was so boring. After completing the games several times, I still couldn’t get into his character. It wasn’t until I read his issue of Mass Effect: Homeworlds (the comic) that I actually liked his character. Give the comic book a try if you’re in my boat, and you might appreciate him a little more outside the games.
As a squad member: His biotics were all right. I never really used him, to be honest.
