14. EDI
EDI has a *gasp* real body! Well, sort of. First off, I don’t think there could be a better voice actress than Tricia Helfer. I think we can all admit we all had crushes on her at one point while watching Battlestar Galactica. The character she blossomed into once receiving her body was great. My favorite part of her becoming a substantial being is the romantic involvement you can encourage both her and Joker to pursue.
I never really started thinking about AI until EDI came about, and if we really think about it, having a relationship with a robot in the year 2186 doesn’t seem too far fetched. Her attempts at acclimating to human culture and humor was always adorable to me. Her crack at jokes were never boring, and unforgettable.
As a squad member: EDI was okay; she wasn’t top tier, but she wasn’t the weakest, either. Pairs well when fighting synthetics.
