/// Metrico+ Is Coming to the PS4 in 2016!

Previously released on PlayStation Vita as Metrico, Metrico+ will have lots of new content, completely revamped visuals, and, “instead of the worlds that use Vita hardware features, there are completely new unique worlds to explore with new mechanics and puzzles for the player to solve.” Lead Designer Geert Nellen said:

We are extremely happy with how Metrico was received by players and press. The PlayStation Vita is a fantastic platform with a great audience, but we want more people to enjoy the world we created. So now we’re really excited about Metrico making the transition to the big screen and can’t wait to share the look and feel of the Metrico+ experience with an entirely new audience on PC and consoles.

/// Yager Comments on Being Dropped from Dead Island 2!

We’re sorry to announce the termination of our joint project with Deep Silver. As of now Yager is no longer responsible for the development of Dead Island 2. Timo Ullmann, CEO of Yager Group, elaborates: ”Our Yager team is fully committed to the development of AAA quality titles. We work closely with international publishers and partners and have at the same time always remained an independent development studio. Our team is made of the best creative minds and tech specialists who all share a common identity. The team worked with enthusiasm to take Dead Island 2 to a new level of quality. However, Yager and Deep Silver’s respective visions of the project fell out of alignment, which led to the decision that has been made. We’ll focus our current efforts on Dreadnought together with Six Foot and our publisher Grey Box as well as on new projects. More details will be disclosed soon. All I can reveal at this point is that gamescom will be awesome for Dreadnought.” Just as the many fans of Dead Island we sincerely hope that DI2 will shape up to be the great experience everyone has been waiting for. /// Warhammer 40,000 Action RPG Announced for PS4, Xbox One, & PC!

https://youtu.be/kTdMC4N6Kd4 Budapest-based developer NeocoreGames has announced Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr; an action-RPG it’s building in collaboration with Warhammer 40,000 creator Games Workshop. NeocoreGames describes Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr as a “persistent sandbox action-RPG” and explains that the single-player campaign will thrust players “into a grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition.” NeocoreGames also promises that, after the campaign concludes, the story will continue “in a colossal sandbox game” that the developer claims will give players “years of constant entertainment, gradual development and a continuous flow of content that enriches the action-RPG gameplay.” “There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an action RPG,” said producer Zoltán Pozsonyi in a statement. “Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.” Hungarian studio NeocoreGames, founded in 2005, has developed several other RPGs, including King Arthur and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. The announcement itself doesn’t linger on any real specifics so we don’t know a great deal else about Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr at this stage. It’s due out in 2016 for PC, Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. [Source] Top of Page
