Kojima Denies Metal Gear Rising 2 Tease at Taipei Games Show

Yesterday we reported on a rumor of Metal Gear Rising 2 being shown during the Taipei Games Show. Today, Hideo Kojima and Konami producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi have come out to deny this.

This comes to us from Games Celebrity Geoff Keighley who spoke with Kojima and Imaizumi about this:

So does that mean there will be no Metal Gear Rising 2? It’s hard to tell but it seems that the hopes of those who wanted a sequel to Revengeance will be denied. However, it should be noted that Kojima is the master of misdirection. He said there will be no tease of the game but nothing about it NOT being in development. There may be hope yet for fans of this series.
