The developers behind Trine, Frozenbyte, have gifted us with some great news today; the Trine series will become a trilogy, as Trine 3: Artifacts of Power has been announced for PC.
In a short press release, the company didn’t state much other than the fact that it is coming out in 2015:
“The Three Heroes embark on a new adventure through an enchanting fairytale world full of wonders, puzzles, dangerous foes and strange magic – coming 2015!”
While the release is strictly PC right now, Frozenbyte did say that it would only be initally, which means we could be seeing this come to consoles eventually. If you’re unfamiliar with Trine, the game puts you in the shoes of three classes; Knight, Wizard, and Thief, all of whom you control simultaneously throughout the game.
