Forza Motorsport 6: Apex coming to PC for free this Spring

In an effort to stay true to their word of supporting the PC platform, Microsoft has announced Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, a game that aims to bring the Forza Motorsport brand to the PC this spring, and all for the sweet price of free.

While the game won’t be the complete Forza experience, the it will still offer a lot of what fans have come to enjoy. Brand new additions to Forza world, like Drivatar and Forzavista, will be available in Apex. The game will also allow gamers to turn their graphics all the way up, with Apex supporting 4K resolutions on the PC.

There isn’t much else in the way of news, but look for more as the months go by. For now, you can take a look at the list of features revealed by Microsoft below, and take a peak at some screenshots at the bottom of this article:

• Experience the world of Forza on Windows 10 PCs for free, with many of the best racing experiences that “Forza Motorsport 6” has to offer, as well as Forza’s trademark innovations such as Drivatar™ opponents and Forzavista™ cars – each with working cockpits and full damage.
• Discover new ways to play and compete, including an all-new Showcase Tour, Spotlight Series, in-race bonus objectives and an all-new scoring mechanic.
• Race a diverse selection of 63 Forzavista™ cars curated from fan favorites,reflecting a variety of automotive interests, including hot hatch, muscle, touring,exotics, GT racing, track toys, prototypes and hyper cars.
• Compete on more than 20 exciting track ribbons across six world-famous locales, including wet-weather and night variants.
