The Tie That Bonds – An Interview with Daisy Winter’s Brooke Shields and Sterling Jerins

The bond between mother and child is at times unbreakable. It’s often argued that because of the bond formed when the child is in the womb, the relationship between the two can be unwavering.

Daisy Winters, an upcoming film by Daisy Force Pictures and Me Jane Productions explores the bond between an 11-year-old girl’s unconventional yet deeply loving relationship with her mother, and what happens when their bond is broken.

The mesmerizing Brooke Shields stars as Sandy Winters, a single mother of a precocious daughter who has prepared her for the world. However, she is a masking a dark secret about Daisy’s father that Daisy is determined to uncover. Together they embrace every moment with determination and an unrelenting belief in herself. Caring, understanding and wise beyond her years Sterling Jerins captures the audience’s heart as she’s determined to make it on her own after a life-changing moment occurs.

The Koalition had an opportunity to interview both Shields and Jerins about their roles in Daisy Winters, the state of female-driven films, how they identify with their roles and more.
