No Man’s Sky Coming To Xbox One Later This Year

Earlier today, UK based independent development studio Hello Games announced that No Man’s Sky is getting a free massive update titled No Man’s Sky Next and finally coming to the Xbox One later this year. The official box art from the upcoming Xbox One version of the game is embedded below along with more information.

No Man’s Sky could be best described as an action-adventure survival game in which players are free to explore various planets throughout the solar system on their journey towards the galaxy’s center. Shortly after launching on PlayStation 4 and PC back in August of 2016, the game received mixed reviews and harsh criticism for the lack of consistent news on updates. Prior to working on No Man’s Sky, Hello Games created the Joe Danger series.

The team has certainly improved the game thus far and are finally making good on the promise of bringing the game to the Xbox One later this year. All physical copies of the Xbox One version are expected to be distributed by 505 games.

Are any of you planning on picking up No Man’s Sky for the Xbox One or playing the free update when it launches later this year? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
