We’re back to recap Power Book III: Raising Kanan Episode 5 Choose “Your Battles”. This was a shocking episode that ended with a major plot twist. We also address some news topics, including Courtney Kemp signing a deal with Netflix and what it could mean for the Power universe. It was reported earlier this week that the creator of Power and business partner of 50 Cent, Courtney Kemp, inked a high eight-figure overall deal with Netflix to create new shows and develop other projects for a global audience through her End of Episode banner.

Raising Kanan news

The deal has the potential to become a nine-figure deal depending on the success of her projects. Kemp will remain an executive producer and involved creatively in the Power series, but to what extent she’ll be working on them, we don’t know. On this episode of Powercast, you’ll hear us speculate about how this will affect Power, but understand that this discussion is clearly speculation and consists of no insider information.

We also touch on a possible flashback scene with Unique and the friend he killed in last week’s episode of Raising Kanan.
