Nat Wolff And Lucy Hale to Star in Rom-Com Adaptation Which Brings Me to You

Nat Wolff is set to star opposite Lucy Hale in upcoming romantic comedy Which Brings Me to You.

From a screenplay by Keith Bunin (OnwardHorns) adapted from the novel by Julianna Baggot and Steve Almond, Which Brings Me to You follows Jane (Hale), a freelance journalist, and Will (Wolf), a photographer, who are immediately drawn to each other at a mutual friend’s wedding. After the pair sneak off to hook up in the coat room, all signs point to an empty one-night stand. Instead, over the next 24 hours, they share stories of their most embarrassing sexual encounters, first loves, heartbreak and whirlwind romances, discovering each other through heartwarming, hilarious and sometimes tragic tales. Can they let go of their pasts, overcome their fears and place their trust in one another, in the hope of finding something truly special?

“I’m thrilled to have Nat onboard Which Brings Me to You,” said Hutchings. “He’s funny, charming, and utterly perfect for this role, and he and Lucy have a magnetic chemistry. We can’t wait to share this story with the world.”

Published in 2006, the novel featured two rambunctious, romantic flameouts: One boring wedding. One heated embrace in a quiet coatroom. This is not exactly the recipe for true love. John and Jane’s lusty encounter at a friend’s wedding isn’t really the beginning of anything with any weight to it; even they know that. When they manage to pull back, it occurs to them that they might start this whole thing over properly. They might try getting to know one another first, through letters.

What follows is a series of traded confessions—of their messy histories, their past errors, their big loves, their flaws, and their passions. Each love affair, confessed as honestly as possible, reveals the ways in which Jane and John have grown and changed—or not changed—over the years; the people they’ve hurt, the ones still bruised. The ones who bruised them. Where all of this soul-baring will take them is the burning question behind every letter—a question that can only be answered when they meet again, finally, in the flesh.

Which Brings Me to You movie adaptation is being produced by Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures, with and Hale and Wolff executive producing.

Wolff is repped by WME, Definition Entertainment and Untitled Entertainment. Hale is repped by ICM Partners and Reel Talent Management. Hutchings is represented by Lit Entertainment Group
