Earlier today, SIE Bend Studio confirmed in a detailed PlayStation blog post that Days Gone will launch worldwide on February 22nd, 2019. This news comes a few months after a delay was announced by the developers. A brand new release date trailer is embedded above while screenshots and a quick description of the upcoming PS4 exclusive are included below.
Days Gone is an action-adventure survival horror game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic open-world and revolves around the trials and tribulations of lead protagonist and former Bounty Hunter Deacon St. John. The newly released trailer introduces us to several new adversaries including mountain lions, infected ravens and a Freaker worshipping cult referred to as Rest In Peace. SIE Bend Studio has also gone on record saying that your motorcycle will play an integral role in the overall gameplay experience.
After seeing this trailer, I have more questions regarding Days Gone and am certain that we will get more answers over time. Stay tuned for our continued coverage on Days Gone in the weeks ahead.
Now that we have a confirmed release date, are any of you planning on picking up Days Gone early next year? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the upcoming game and more in the comments section below.
