She learns about ‘Trinity’ a secret organization that plans a worldwide genocide attack. Humanity’s fate depends on Lara Croft to save the world.
Assassin’s Creed (2016)
The film franchise Assassin’s Creed, featuring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard was released in 2016. The film is about Callum Lynch who recalls the memories of his previous ancestor – Aguilar – back in the 15th Century, Aguilar was a member of the secret society of assassins. With the recalling technologies, he acquires knowledge and the fighting skills to battle against the powerful organization in the present.
Australian Director of the film, Justin Kurzel said: “It’s about being loyal to the incredible fan base of Assassin’s Creed. There are 95 million players in the world, and people are very protective of the brand. That’s why it’s so successful because there are a lot of really interesting, deep things in it… The ideas in it (re-living memories] are as interesting.”
It has been announced that Assassin’s Creed 2 will be released in the next few years which will continue from where the 2016 adaption left off. You will definitely be seeing Michael Fassbender back in action, recalling his ancestors’ memories, which will help the game become even more popular than it already is.
Warcraft
The action fantasy film, Warcraft was released in May 2016. Warcraft has made a total of a jaw-dropping $433 million, which surpassed the video game film, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Warcraft was very popular in China, the world’s largest film market. If the film studio decides to make a second Warcraft movie, most probably the production will be made for the Chinese film market and will not be released it in the United States. The simple reason is that Warcraft in the USA earned the film only $47 million.
Dominic Cooper one of the protagonists in the film said “This story was very compelling in itself. It has a lot of questioning aspects, even towards the world we live in now. It’s about domination of lands and who is right – who do those lands belong to, who do we believe to be our heroes, who are good and evil, in our opinion, compared to another person’s opinion.”
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
The action adventure movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time starred an Oscar-nominated actor: Jake Gyllenhaal, as well as the film and television producer behind Top Gun, Pirates of the Caribbean: Jerry Bruckheimer. Action is definitely on the cards in this film.

Activision has revealed that a Call of Duty film is set to be released between 2018 and 2019. The movie is still in its early stages, directed by Stefano Sollima. The writer Kieran Fitzgerald is working on Sherlock Holmes 3, some of his past works include Snowden and the documentary series, Wormwood. With these two people involved in the production of the movie, you can expect incredible edge-of-your-seat action in the final film.
