Despite the fact that its universe will soon come to an end, Marvel is releasing one last huge event before the Secret Wars commence: Guardians of the Galaxy & X-Men: The Black Vortex.
An artifact known as The Black Vortex is discovered and it has the power to unlock a person’s cosmic potential. Anyone who touches this artifact can become like Phoenix or Silver Surfer. It is being sought after by Star-Lord’s father, Mister Knife, and Thanos’ son, Thane.
The book which is written by Sam Humphries with art by Ed McGuinness, will feature more than the titular teams. It’ll also have The Star Jammers, the original five X-Men, Captain Marvel, Nova, Storm, Beast, and Magik. There will also be some secret characters making an appearance as well.
Guardians of the Galaxy & X-Men: The Black Vortex will hit comic book shops and digital devices this month.
