Marvel’s Avengers video game was announced during Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference earlier this week. The Crystal Dynamics headed game features the flagship Avengers roster from the MCU (Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor and Hulk) and is said to have many more unseen characters. The game will feature a completely original storyline, in which the Avengers are disbanded after a devastating event that leads civilian casualties. Five years later, a new threat presents itself, and the Avengers must assemble once again to save Earth.
The Marvel’s Avengers video game will also include online co-op, so you can complete missions with friends. Square Enix has also confirmed that all additional content will be free once you’ve purchased the game. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will also include an exclusive bonus and in the video, I mention what I believe this will be. In terms of villains, Taskmaster has been confirmed as one of the enemies you’ll be squaring up against. But I’m sure there will be many more deadly threats, and maybe even Thanos will show up.
Voice actors for the game include: Troy Baker, Nolan North, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham and Jeff Schine. Currently, these are the only voice actors revealed to be in the game, but as there are more characters, expect much more talent to be involved.
Marvel’s Avengers video game will release on May 15th 2020, which is just under a year from now. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below.
