Final Fantasy VII Remake experienced a media blowout at E3 2019 during the Square Enix press conference. Being as I’m the residential Final Fantasy fanboy at The Koalition, I decided to do a short recap video going through some of the new details about the game, while also sharing some of my personal thoughts as a fan of the original.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will release on March 3rd 2019 for the PlayStation 4. There’s a 1st Class Collectors Edition, a Deluxe Edition and the Standard Edition. Check your local Square Enix website to see all purchasing options and prices in your region.
The FFVII Remake has real-time combat with an ATB system. You’ll be able to switch between party members during battle, unlike Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3. It was also revealed that Part 1 of the remake will only cover the Midgar portion of the Final Fantasy VII story. How do you feel about this? Let us know in the comments below.
