Kanye West has been on his media grind lately and makes his return on Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club to speak his mind about his ideology and get hassled a little by Charlamagne Tha God. It is no secret that Kanye is on his protest and revolutionary-phase with this latest record and Yeezus, but that doesn’t stop Angela Yee, Dj Envy, and Charlamagne from asking him what is really going on in his complex mind and why he decided to make the career steps that he has made.
It seems that Ye has a lot to say about the moves he has been making and the motive behind it all. As a result, he doesn’t hold back in this, almost rant, interview. It seems that racism and a wounded ego are what drives this artist to act out. There really is a method to his madness and the ego is really that real. Unfortunately, his energy just seems to stay in the materialistic (fashion) when there are real issues and problems with the black community that he could be putting an effort towards.
