Marvel Studios held a special event in Los Angeles today. Going in, no one was quite sure what to expect but given that Warner Bros. had recently announced its superhero movie slate, it was reasonable to assume that Marvel would be doing the same. Sure enough that’s exactly what happened.
The house of ideas revealed the names and release dates for nine upcoming movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These films range from sequels to some of their most popular franchises to ones which feature first timers for the live action movie realm.
Needless to say, but we were blown away. So blown away in fact that a special episode of Throwdown needed to happen. News of this magnitude can’t be contained on the regular show so we needed to give it its own platform. We discuss all nine movies in detail and talk about how they will all connect and what they mean for the greater MCU.
I was joined by: Emilio Lopez, Brian Munjoma, Brett Murdock, Chris Sealy, Charles Singletary Jr, JakeJames Lugo, and Jayden Goss. Thanks to our special guest Anthony Nash from Max Level.
