Sega has released the third of five planned DLCs for the scary-as-fuck Alien: Isolation. This latest DLC called Safe Haven is the most challenging one yet.
In Safe Haven, you play as Hughes, who is the communications manager on the doomed Sevastopol Space Station. Hughes must complete ten tasks which are provided to him by the communications terminal. That sounds simple but considering that there are trigger happy humans, malfunctioning man-killing androids, and of course a big-ass xenomorph, things won’t be that simple.
This challenge is on a time limit and players have two hours to complete all of the tasks. To make it even more challenging, there are NO continues. You must complete the challenges without dying so you’ll have to use all of your cunning and wits to make it. Completing challenges will unlock rewards and points which in turn will grant new items to collect and craft. If players want, they can trade points in for a save slot though this will reduce their final score and position on the Alien: Isolation leaderboards.
This mode is definitely for those who fully know the ins and outs of Alien: Isolation. It is available now for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Make sure to read my review of the game by following this link.
