With this trailer for Halo: Nightfall, the creators of the film seem to have noted the successes and the failures of the previous Halo film (Forward Unto Dawn) and are taking a proactive approach in ensuring that this time around the complaints will be far less substantiated.
Jameson Locke is presented as the main character during the trailer and the movie serves as not only his origin story but as a transitional platform to insert him into the upcoming Halo game, Halo 5: Guardians. He leads an elite group who are tasked with what should be a routine mission but transforms into a fight for their lives.
While the outcome of this wager remains unseen for the moment, what can be said is that this movie has potential to garner adoration from hardcore Halo fans and newcomers alike.
Halo: Nightfall releases on Nov. 11th and is included with Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
