Yesterday afternoon, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the official launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 11. The video is conveniently embedded above for all of you to check out.
Set to the tune of the original Mortal Kombat theme song, this trailer features several cinematic sequences taken from the upcoming sequel. We get an overall gist of the storyline and a sneak peek at a few other fighters that haven’t been confirmed as playable characters yet. Brutal x-ray moves are also displayed throughout various parts of this video to remind fans of just how brutal things well get on the battlefield. This trailer was released a day after the Shao Kahn gameplay trailer.
Mortal Kombat 11 kicks off what will be an incredible week for video game releases with PlayStation 4 exclusive Days Gone set to launch a few days later. It will be very interesting to see how both of these highly anticipated titles perform saleswise over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for our thoughts on both games in the days ahead.
